Le Rouge et le Blanc enjoys a privileged location. This Wine-Bar & Restaurant provides you with a magnificent view of the famous water-jet of Geneva with its terrace adjoining the banks of the Rhône. This historical site, made of cut stones and old beams, is managed by two professionals: one of them a sommelier and epicure to the core and the other one a cook with a gastronomic carreer.
At lunch time, it is a restaurant, with seasonal cuisine and market produce, in which the harmony between dishes and wines will not fail to surprise you. Awarded this year a fork in the Michelin guide. At night, from 5 p.m., it becomes a Wine Bar, where you will be able to discover table and vintage wines by the glass. These fruity, delicacy wines, are to be enjoyed with delicious free Tapas, as well as a selection of home-made delicatessen and cheeses. Every night for dinner, you are given a choice of a variety of traditional, culinary French dishes.
Eric Simonin is the chief cook. His cuisine is light and inventive, a cuisine learnt from many MOFs (Meilleurs Ouvriers de France) in Paris and in Geneva, at the Hôtel du Rhône. Alain is sommelier by profession and will transmit his passion for wine to you.
Due to the success of our concept Quai des Bergues, we have just opened a second restaurant in Geneva, 54 Boulevard des tranchées, an exact replicate of the first one.
